Together with grade 11 students of Robert Koch secondary school, akademie der autodidakten and director Volkan T. developed a theatrical play based on the saga of the Nibelungs, catapulting the heroic epic into the present. In the course of preparations for a dance battle, intrigues are forged and power relations challenged. Fragile constructs emerge, only to burst like bubbles at the end.

Naivety and love turn into suspicion and hatred, until everything collapses.

After a successful workshop presentation during the TUSCH-Festtage (festival) and at Ballhaus Naunynstraße, we now present the production in full length.
