The age of the formation of a new consciousness is dawning. We know the constrictions of identity constructs of man/woman, human/artefact, Black/White; we transcend the boundaries of external ascriptions, we melt down marginalized, imagined and projected identities into new temporary figurations. Let’s oscillate!

For this project, akademie der autodidakten collected the voices of people for whom the assignment to certain boxes as well as breaking free of them is a daily routine. Interviews with in-between positions. All of our voices together produce a big sound, whose acoustic sound waves we combine in an installation. Against the old dream of a common language we produce a powerful distillate of many tongues ‒ sharp-tongued, diverse.
