Urban Sounds Clash Classic is a film and music project inspired by the movie „Berlin ‒ Die Sinfonie der Großstadt“. In a semi-documentary way young people will record and compose an artwork consisting of pictures and sounds, which will capture the different aspects of Berlin from their perspectives. The collected pictures and sounds will be brought on stage as an orchestral sound and picture happening. Here the young people will participate as musicians/composers or directors/VJs. The production merges sounds, electronic rhythm, classic and film to a collage about Berlin. It tracks the development that made it possible for street art to establish itself in a museum next to the Mona Lisa.
